The Liberty Project
Liberty Project Seattle is a collaboration between The City of Seattle, Tabor 100, the Consulting and Business Development Center at the University of Washington Foster School of Business, and the Business Foundry at Seattle University’s Albers School of Business and Economics. The goal of the project is to grow Black/African American-owned businesses to earn 7.9% of business revenues in Seattle which will match the 7.9% of Seattle’s population who are Black/African American. Services range from technical assistance to business development. Utilizing the M3 Model, Liberty Project Seattle will address racial inequality in areas such as: Business ownership, access to equity financing, distribution through appropriate channels, and much more.
